iLogic Design Engineer Job Summary:

Pay: $75,000–$85,000, based on experience

Shift: Day Shift
The iLogic Design Engineer supports the design department in delivering 3D fabrication-ready part files to the in-house manufacturing department using Autodesk Inventor, while managing a library of parametric parts in Autodesk Vault. This role helps shape the organization by advancing design automation processes and improving DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) principles.
iLogic Desin Engineer Responsibilities:

Create, maintain, and organize custom Autodesk Inventor parts and assemblies within Vault for fabrication teams.

Lead development of Inventor & Vault processes with automation tools (iLogic, PowerShell, CoolOrange, etc.).

Build and maintain parametric parts and assemblies for efficiency and accuracy.

Establish and manage standard processes for Inventor & Vault across internal and external design partners.

Implement Autodesk Inventor & Vault into design and manufacturing workflows to streamline information transfer.

Integrate design data into the company ERP (INFOR CloudSuite SiteLine) for reporting.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve design processes and automation strategies.

Develop knowledge of company products to identify opportunities for value engineering and process improvement.

Communicate automation processes and logic to downstream designers for clarity and consistency.

Support initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in design-to-manufacturing workflows.
iLogic Design Engineer Qualifications:
-
Associate’s degree or higher in manufacturing, construction, architecture, or engineering.

Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design ; equivalent experience considered.

Proven experience in design automation for manufacturing parametric assemblies and parts.

General understanding of manufacturing/design practices and structural framing requirements.

Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate software implementation (Inventor or similar).

Self-starter with strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effective in a team environment.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with urgency.

Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and CAD; familiarity with other 3D software, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office .
