Job Title: IFS Junior Technical Analyst

Location: Hybrid

Department: IT / ERP / Business Systems

Reports To: Senior IFS Technical Consultant / IFS Technical Lead

Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IFS Junior Technical Analyst to support the ongoing development, configuration, and maintenance of our IFS Cloud ERP environment. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with IFS Cloud, coupled with a strong technical foundation and a passion for ERP systems and business process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the technical configuration, customization, and administration of IFS Cloud applications.
• Assist in the development of custom reports, integrations, and extensions using IFS tools and related technologies.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis, data migration, and data validation tasks as part of project or support activities.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
• Support testing, upgrades, and deployment activities within the IFS environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
• Stay current with IFS Cloud updates, releases, and best practices.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with IFS Cloud (preferably in a technical or support role).
• Basic understanding of IFS modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Projects.
• Familiarity with IFS technical tools (e.g., IFS Aurena, IFS Developer Studio, IFS Report Designer).
• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or similar database technologies.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and basic web technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to IFS Cloud upgrades or implementation projects.
• Experience with Crystal Reports, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
• Knowledge of IFS Data Migration tools or IFS Connect.
• Awareness of Agile or ITIL methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
