I&C Commissioning Engineer
Direct Hire
Wharton NJ 07885
Travel and Overtime required - Per Diem and Company Vehicle provided.
$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 + benefits, Paid Holidays, PTO Etc.

Responsibilities:

Reports to the Senior Controls Engineer and work under the Lead Instrumentation Specialist.

Provide maintenance support for the continuous operation of essential instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment.

Work with electricians and process control operators to assist and diagnose various instrumentation and control processes.

Commissioning, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting the following:

• Metering and recording instruments
• Control devices
• Data logging equipment
• Display equipment
• Communications and telemetry systems
• PLC’s and HMI’s

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in programming or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in field commissioning with strong knowledge of the following
• PLC commissioning and startup
• SCADA (RS View, GE Ifix, SEMS)
• Wireless Telemetry Systems
• OPC
• SQL
• HMI’s
• MS Office Suite
• Read Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
• Read Mechanical Flow Diagrams (MFD).
• Process equipment (pumps, compressors, control valves, heat exchangers, generators)
• Instrumentation calibration and test equipment (Multi meters, Pressure and Temp calibrators, Etc…)
