IBM Maintenance Mechanic
Automation Personnel Services is seeking an IBM Maintenance Mechanic for a fast-growing company located in Pasadena, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to troubleshoot, build, dismantle, rebuild, repair, replace, and install machinery and component parts in accordance with company policies and general industry standards.
Pay Rate
$20.00- $30.00 per hour Depending on Experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
IBM Maintenance Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure proper operation and performance of machinery/equipment.
· Identify and disable power sources for machinery/equipment.
· Follow Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
· Complete training and certifications for forklifts, aerial lifts, and safety protocols.
· Maintain and repair various machinery and equipment.
· Ensure safety interlocks are functional and report hazards.
· Respond to alarms and warning lights.
· Use hand tools and machine tools safely.
· Perform welding and cutting tasks.
· Collaborate with production, quality control, and other maintenance personnel.
· Recognize and avoid electrical hazards.
· Maintain cleanliness and proper disposal of chemicals.
· Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety policies.
· Complete paperwork and reports.
· Identify confined spaces and follow entry procedures.
IBM Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
· Mechanical: Understand and repair machinery/equipment, use precision measuring tools.
· Mathematical: Basic arithmetic, decimals, fractions, and recording numbers.
· Physical: Stand, walk, climb, lift, and perform repetitive movements.
· Environmental: Work indoors and outdoors.
· Drug test and Background Required
· Lifting Assessment Required (In office)
