Job Summary
The Hyundai Service Technician position at the Mills Auto Group in Hampton, Virginia is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented technician to take on a full-time skilled labor role. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles for the dealership, providing excellent customer service, and working professionally with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair vehicles, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Demonstrate safety and tidiness throughout the garage
• Handle customer concerns and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance including oil and filter changes, lubrications, and tire rotations
• Inspect vehicles for safety related issues
• Consult with other technicians to discuss and advise on the diagnostic and repair process
• Follow dealership policies and procedures
Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience as a technician for a dealership or related auto industry organization
• ASE certification a plus
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
• Positive and professional attitude
• Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• High school diploma or GED
