Our client is seeking a Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Engineer to join a fast-growing engineering firm that's reshaping the flood solutions space nationwide. Work Setting: Hybrid-Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Support permitting efforts for water resource and floodplain projects.
  • Lead FEMA (C)LOMR/MT-2 regulatory submissions and documentation.
  • Perform flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and mitigation planning.
  • Design and evaluate stormwater systems, culverts, and detention basins.
  • Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and review modeling results.
  • Collaborate across disciplines, clients, and agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, riverine, and floodplain systems.

Qualifications:

  • PE license .
  • MT-2 experience required.
  • 5+ years of H&H engineering experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Civil 3D, GIS.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.
  • Project management experience and interest in mentoring junior engineers.
  • Experience with FEMA LOMR/MT-2 floodplain mapping and stormwater design.
