Position Overview

GSO Aviation, Inc. provides component MRO services for pneumatic, fuel, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems installed on today's most popular commercial aircraft with a focus on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

We’re seeking an experienced Hydraulic Mechanic to support operations within our FAA Part 145 Repair Station. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a component or accessory shop environment, working on aircraft hydraulic systems and related components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and overhaul hydraulic components and accessories
  • Perform troubleshooting and functional testing in accordance with approved data
  • Interpret and follow Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and technical documentation
  • Maintain accurate work records and traceability documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with inspection and quality teams

Qualifications

  • Experience in aviation hydraulic component repair or overhaul
  • Familiarity with component-level maintenance (shop environment)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • A&P License is a plus (not required)

Experience

  • Hydraulic pumps, actuators, valves, and related accessories
  • FAA Part 145 repair station experience
  • Exposure to EASA or international regulatory environments (a plus)
