Salary: Commensurate with experience, guaranteed base salary + comm.
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Description:
The Hybrid Sales Rep drives our business forward, promoting and selling our products and services. Main duties include meeting with clients, responding to customer questions, ensuring estimates and orders are processed on time. The OSR works closely with the Sales Manager and estimating team while cultivating and managing customer relationships. This role is for someone that is resourceful, inquisitive, self-motivated, possesses strong organizational / interpersonal skills and is capable of handling high work volumes.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the effective sales efforts in the Midwest region and beyond. This position will be expected to develop new customer accounts, advise customers on service and capabilities, and introduce new services to customers.

  • Develop a list of prospective customers with manager, determine appropriate sales strategy, call on customers, and follow up with additional visits and correspondence as appropriate.
  • Analyze and understand customer requirements.
  • Present proposals to customers.
  • Consult with appropriate management on problems involving pricing, specifications, and service
  • Have thorough knowledge of competition in the marketplace and competitive bid situations
  • Preparing, printing, tracking, sales proposals & estimates
  • Interacting with our proprietary order entry system, managing workflow
  • Cultivate and manage customer relationships

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Proven experience in sales and developing new business
  • Strong customer service, communication, and social skills
  • Commitment to setting and achieving goals
  • Sharp analytical thinking and reasoning abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and take appropriate action
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented with sound problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain high degree of organization
  • Excellent time management
  • Expected to create and/ or generate sales potential and leads
  • Poses excellent written and verbal skills
  • Must maintain the ability to travel
  • Prefer 3+ years of selling experience with similar product applications, preferably in the OEM, Packaging and Construction Industries
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn.
