Job Details
We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with dual licensure in Illinois and California to join our prestigious legal team.
Position Overview:
Handle a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters including:
- Professional liability cases
- Nursing home defense
- Condominium disputes
- Elder abuse litigation
- General commercial disputes
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of litigation from investigation through trial and appeal
- Draft pleadings, motions, and litigation documents
- Conduct discovery and depositions
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings
- Develop strategic case approaches and legal strategies
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from accredited law school
- Active bar admission in both Illinois and California
- 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience
- Experience in professional liability, healthcare, or elder law
- Exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong negotiation abilities
- Commitment to superior client service
