Job Title: Field Service Technician or HVAC Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH 44060 (Mentor area)
Travel Requirement: 100% within assigned territory (must reside within 25 miles of work areas in Cleveland, OH (Mentor area) )
Proposed Hours:[Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri - 3:00pm-11:30pm] Training hours may differ. Shift possible to change with some variation of possible rotation, weekends, nights, OT.
SUMMARY
We are seeking a Field Service Technician I to join our dynamic service team . This entry-level role involves servicing ATMs, POS systems, and related equipment across Hartford and Waterbury. The ideal candidate will have Electro mechanical aptitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in varied environments. This position requires 100% travel within the assigned territory. Flexibility in schedule, physical capability, and technical interest are key to success in this role.
TOP SKILLS NEEDED
- Experience servicing an ATM, either by being a Cash Vendor or being an ATM service provider
- Low Voltage and Locksmith Experience a definite plus. Mechanically inclined
- Able to use computers and troubleshoot issues, familiar use of hand tools, good customer service.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record (per company fleet standards)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Use of personal vehicle for the first 90 days (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with computers and a variety of consumer communications devices, such as smart phones.
- Travel to/from assigned territories and company facilities, including during inclement weather is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing maintenance on ATMs (e.g., card reader, printer, reset and test devices, etc.). Electro mechanical repair.
- Performing basic installation functions (e.g., set up and test equipment, pulling cables, mounting devices, installing locks)
- Performing technical fixes such as clearing paper jams, card jams, bill jams, etc.
- Inspecting products for correct operation and resolving noted issues and/or escalating according to established procedures.
- Prioritizing and planning service calls.
- Works within a team environment, completes all required paperwork, manages, and maintains service parts inventory.
- Contacting the customer with the estimated time of arrival.
- Working with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and understanding of product functionality.
- Following key/alarm/combination control processes in assigned area of responsibility.
