We are currently looking for a dependable, motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and thermostats
  • Complete seasonal tune-ups, inspections, and system performance checks
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues in residential homes
  • Clean and inspect coils, drains, filters, motors, blowers, electrical components, and safety controls
  • Check refrigerant levels, pressures, voltage, amperage, airflow, and thermostat operation
  • Identify worn or damaged parts and recommend repair or replacement options
  • Test systems for safe and efficient operation
  • Clearly communicate findings, repair needs, and maintenance recommendations to homeowners
  • Complete service tickets, job notes, and maintenance records accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle
  • Follow company procedures, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines
  • Assist with minor installations or component replacements as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • HVAC experience in residential service and/or maintenance
  • EPA Certification required or based on duties
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Working knowledge of residential HVAC systems and components
  • Ability to use gauges, meters, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of residential HVAC experience
  • Experience with gas furnaces, heat pumps, smart thermostats, and indoor air quality products
  • Familiarity with mobile dispatch or field service software
  • Journeyman license

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, garages, and outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and move throughout the day

Work Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities
