Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team to work with a commercial HVAC and sheet metal company located in Dallas-Fort Worth. The person in this role will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems.

Pay: $35-38/hr

HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

• Install, connect, calibrate, and repair HVAC systems and components to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.

• Identify and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues within HVAC systems, implementing effective solutions to restore functionality.

• Provide technical leadership and on-the-job training to team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and high standards of service.

• Accurately document all service work performed, including uploading pictures and detailed notes to the 360 platform for record-keeping and future reference.

• Ensure that all work performed adheres to high-quality standards, consistently delivering reliable and high-performance systems.

• Maintain effective communication with customers, explaining service needs, solutions, and recommendations in a clear, professional manner.

• Oversee complex repairs and installations as needed, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.

• Collaborate with the office team to identify opportunities and assist in selling preventive maintenance contracts to customers when appropriate.

• Stay informed about emerging HVAC technologies, new systems, and industry trends through ongoing training, certifications, and professional development to ensure expertise in the latest equipment and practices.

• Perform system start-ups, ensuring all components of newly installed or replaced HVAC systems are tested, calibrated, and fully operational according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.

HVAC Technician Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician experience, ideally in the commercial sector.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.

Compensation & Benefits:
