Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe HVAC Technician role is primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers, chillers, RTUs, remote condensing units, ice machines, walk-in coolers & freezers, and upright refrigerators & freezers.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
- Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems.
- Conduct tests and inspections to identify potential problems or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with property owners or managers to discuss system requirements and provide recommendations.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations when working with HVAC systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial market experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician Rack experience a plus.
- Strong competency with Self-Contained units, Single Systems, and knows the basics of Refrigeration Systems.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
