You should have prior experience as an HVAC technician, hold an EPA certification, and be a team player who is also comfortable working independently. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and pride in delivering high-quality work are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, cleaning ducts, and refilling refrigerants, to improve system efficiency.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC system issues, including defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Test HVAC systems, electrical circuits, pipe joints, and tubing connections for proper functioning and potential leaks using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer guidelines during installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Perform preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of HVAC systems and prevent breakdowns.
- Establish customer rapport to ensure satisfaction and explain system functions when necessary.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed on HVAC systems.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call Once Month until 10PM
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Certification or license as an HVAC technician .
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License required.
- NATE certification is .
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician, with experience in the operation and maintenance of Furnace, Air conditioner, boilers, heat pumps, air handlers.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components, as well as property maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift up to 40 pounds.
