We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician with proven experience in both commercial and residential systems, as well as refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in various environments. This role requires strong technical skills, a proactive work ethic, and a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, walk-in coolers, freezers, and ventilation equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system tune-ups

Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

Ensure compliance with HVAC and refrigeration codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications

Document service work, material usage, and job status in service reports

Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues and recommend solutions

Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in proper working order

Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotation when required
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification

EPA Section 608 Certification required
-
Refrigeration experience is required (commercial and/or residential)

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC and refrigeration service, repair, and installation

Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Excellent diagnostic, organizational, and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of environments (rooftops, confined spaces, etc.)
