HVAC Technician (Residential & Commercial)

Company: MechaniTech HVAC Solutions LLC – serves Litchfield, New Haven and Hartford Counties

About Us: Full-Service HVAC company providing installation, maintenance, and repair services since 2020. Owner in the trade for 20+ years.

Position Summary: We are hiring a motivated HVAC Technician to install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. Reliable, safety-minded candidates who deliver excellent customer service encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (furnaces, boilers, AC, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats).

• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups.

• Install new equipment and replace components per specifications.

• Read blueprints and electrical schematics.

• Maintain accurate job logs, time sheets, parts inventory, and customer records.

• Adhere to safety and code standards; maintain clean work areas.

• Communicate professionally with customers and project managers.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years HVAC experience (journey level or above).

• EPA 608 certification required; NATE certification a plus.

• Strong electrical, refrigeration, and troubleshooting skills.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions.

• Good communication and customer service skills.
