Pay Range:$25-$36 Depending on experience plus incentives
Hours:Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm plus on call rotation
JobDuties:
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (rooftop units, ductwork, mini-splits, furnaces, etc.)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems (furnaces, A/C units, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits)
- Repair or replace faulty components (motors, capacitors, contactors, relays, fans, belts, etc.)
- Perform refrigerant recovery, leak testing, charging, and evacuation
- Clean and maintain system components (coils, filters, drain lines)
- Calibrate thermostats and verify system performance
- Install HVAC equipment and accessories (furnaces, condensers, evaporator coils, air handlers, thermostats)
- Connect refrigerant lines, gas lines, ductwork, and electrical
- Retrofit old systems to meet code or energy efficiency standards
- Perform seasonal inspections and tune-ups for preventative maintenance
- Conduct combustion analysis and airflow testing
- Use multimeters, gauges, and digital tools to assess system health
- Check system for compliance with local building codes and safety standards
- Clearly explain issues and repair options to customers
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or maintenance plans
- Complete service tickets, invoices, and warranty paperwork
- Represent the company professionally on-site (appearance, communication, timeliness)
- Log refrigerant usage and recovery (EPA compliance)
- Maintain jobsite records and time sheets
- Input job data into service management software (Service Titan)

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC service
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions
- Good communication skills with clients and other team members
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
- Precision and attention to detail
- EPA 608 Certification (required for handling refrigerants)
- Journeyman HVAC License (where applicable)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces, rooftops, attics
- Familiarity with mobile dispatch apps and job tracking tools
