We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at LaPensee Plumbing, Pools and Air. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering top-notch service, values safety, and is eager to represent our company with professionalism and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Respond to service calls promptly and efficiently.
• Provide accurate diagnoses and communicate repair options to customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and local HVAC codes.
• Maintain tools, company vehicle, and equipment in good working order.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repairs or installations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during service calls.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex projects efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a minimum 2-3 years experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks.

Qualifications:

• NATE certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience with smart HVAC systems and advanced diagnostics.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
