Job DescriptionJob Description

Three Rivers Sheet Metal, Inc. is an HVAC commercial contractor located in Cincinnati, OH looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to join our team. We are looking for someone who has knowledge and experience of ductwork installation and leading a crew on projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal installation, with the ability to read blueprints and submittals. This role requires proficiency in various construction techniques and tools, ensuring high-quality workmanship on all projects. The Sheet Metal Foreman will be responsible for working on construction sites, collaborating with other trades, and contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal ductwork and equipment according to plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and submittals.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation.
• Perform installation of equipment, including HVAC systems, ductwork, and other related components.
• Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and masonry to ensure project success.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
• Assist in the training of less experienced workers as needed.
• Order material and supplies as needed for installation from project manager or supply house.
• Use of iPad and email for online construction programs like Procore; as well as daily reports to project manager.
• Ability to measure and make sketches of ductwork fittings as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in sheet metal installation and running work.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction site practices is required.
