Dominion Service Company seeks a professional level HVAC technician with a minimum of 3-years experience. Primary responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and replacing light commercial HVAC equipment. While applicants must have the necessary technical ability, a strong work ethic and sense of accountability are of primary importance. We offer a strong benefit package and competitive pay. Company vehicle, uniforms, phone and tablet are provided. An ideal candidate for our position has HVAC education as well as necessary certification.

**$500 sign on bonus after completion of first 90 days**

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs, and recommend preventive maintenance
  • Installs heating and air conditioning equipment and systems to provide enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities
  • Performs routine and preventive maintenance as needed to ensure ongoing functioning of HVAC systems
  • Repairs heating and air conditioning systems and/or components (e.g. pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.)
  • Requisitions material and supplies, calls vendors to discuss needs for parts and supplies, and recommends purchases and suppliers
  • Coordinates with other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures
  • Completes any reports or logs
  • Responds to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Graduated from an accredited HVAC training program
  • Three to five years of progressive and relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Safety and customer service oriented
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights
  • Available for emergency on-call
  • Valid and clean driver's license
