Position Overview

We seek an experienced HVAC Service Technician I for our Columbus, OH team. Candidates need 2+ years in commercial HVAC, an active EPA Certification, and strong problem-solving skills. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC, refrigeration, and food service equipment, ensuring quality service with no callbacks.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues in HVAC, refrigeration, and food service equipment, identifying repair/replacement needs.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on HVAC units (15 tons or less) per specifications.

• Repair/replace defective parts in units and controls.

• Communicate with dispatch for timely job completion.

• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for customers.

• Provide elite customer service, explaining issues and resolutions clearly.

Accountabilities

• Pursue skill development through company training programs.

• Deliver top-tier customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.

• Uphold safety standards, including PPE and OSHA guidelines.

Organizational Alignment

Reports to the local Service Manager, collaborating with the service team and clients.

Qualifications

• Required:

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

  • Active EPA Certification.

  • 2+ years in commercial HVAC.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
