Position Overview:

Custom Air and Plumbing, a NearU Company in Sarasota,FL is seeking motivated HVAC Service Technicians to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent HVAC program graduates or individuals with mechanical aptitude looking to start a rewarding career in the heating and cooling industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems

• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups under supervision

• Learn proper use of HVAC tools, instruments, and safety procedures

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner

• Maintain accurate records of work performed

• Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and industry best practices

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or GED (HVAC trade school or related coursework )

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions

• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, climbing ladders, and performing outdoor work

• EPA Section 608 certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components

• All candidates will undergo pre-employment drug screenings and background check

• A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates must submit a recent DMV Safe Driving Record to demonstrate safe driving practices
