About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Probst Refrigeration & Heating as an HVAC Service Tech! In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch service to our valued customers in Effingham, IL, ensuring their heating and cooling systems run efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Install new HVAC equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance clearly.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC .
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
• Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
