HVAC & Refrigeration Service Manager

Long Island, NY | Full-Time | Commercial & Industrial Service Leadership


About the Role

Lead and grow our commercial and industrial HVAC & refrigeration service operations in the Long Island market. Oversee a team of skilled technicians delivering preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency services to a wide range of facilities—including warehouses, manufacturing plants, office complexes, and retail environments. Drive operational excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop HVAC/R service technicians to meet performance and quality goals
  • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and service delivery for multiple client accounts
  • Manage commercial and industrial HVAC & refrigeration maintenance contracts and service calls
  • Ensure accurate job costing, budget adherence, and profitability
  • Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Ensure OSHA and company safety compliance at all times


Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in commercial/industrial HVAC & refrigeration service management
  • Strong technical understanding of chillers, rooftop units, split systems, walk-in freezers, and refrigeration controls
  • Experience managing service teams and operational budgets
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industry regulations
