HVAC-R Technician
Pay Range: $37.04 – $44.45 per hour

Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC-R Technician to join our maintenance team. This role focuses on the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, a deep understanding of refrigeration systems, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend training and complete required journeyman program hours
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems, performing refrigerant recovery and recycling in compliance with EPA guidelines
• Install, service, and maintain HVAC-R equipment and components, including rigging and coordinating heavy loads
• Fabricate, repair, and install HVAC-R system fittings, registers, venting, and pipe fittings
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to modify or repair systems while ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards
• Calibrate, install, and troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and electronic control systems from various manufacturers
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and test equipment for HVAC-R and combustion control systems
• Review and prioritize work orders; determine required materials and process supply orders efficiently
• Cross-train and assist in other skilled trades as needed
• Participate in snow removal and emergency response efforts, including 24-hour on-call availability

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of four (4) years of HVAC-R experience at the journeyman level
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without accommodations
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $37.04 – $44.45
