We are looking for a skilled HVAC-R Technician to join our team. The technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing systems that control the temperature, humidity, and air quality in residential, and commercial settings.
The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism. We expect all team members to treat customers and peers with respect at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to job sites and arrive within scheduled time windows.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration, air conditioners, furnaces, humidifiers, and other equipment used to control indoor climate conditions.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and/ or building equipment. (Example: checking and cleaning of filters, coils, and vents.)
- Recommend energy-efficient equipment that meets current industry standards.
- As needed, work with other HVAC technicians, electricians, and plumbers to ensure building systems function properly.
- Accurately complete and upload service documentation in a timely manner
- Work independently with strong organization and time management
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVACR service and repair
- Intermediate level computer skills
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
Work Environment:
This position works in a construction site environment at certain times, which may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Work conditions vary by job site but are kept as safe and comfortable as possible.
Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Monday- Friday 7:00AM until 6:00PM, as needed and depending on service location. This position may require work on weekends or extended hours for emergency services.
Hourly Pay:
$32.50–$35 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
