Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAllStar Heating & Cooling Corp. is currently looking for a full-time PTAC Helper to assist our experienced technicians with installing, maintaining, and repairing PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) units - this is NOT an HVAC technician position. We have been a family owned and operated business for over 40 years and believe that hard work can also be fun.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation and repair of PTAC equipment.
• Furnish tools, materials and supplies to other workers.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Track all equipment and supplies.
• Help organize and clean the shop, warehouse, and maintain inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Be willing and able to learn.
• Reliable and hard working
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and be able to fulfill the physical demands required.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Outgoing, professional, clean-cut, and drug free
• MUST HAVE Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Have reliable transportation and live 15 miles from Carol Stream
• Agree to drug testing.
• Enjoy working with customers.
