About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our residential services operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading field technicians, managing project scheduling, coordinating with customers and vendors, and implementing processes that improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Directly manage install and service teams, including technicians, installers, and coordinators.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure top performance and career growth.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs, jobsite visits, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily scheduling and dispatch of installation and service crews.
- Coordinate project timelines, equipment delivery, and resource allocation.
- Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
- Manage workflow between install and service departments to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Serve as a point of escalation for customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with sales teams to review upcoming jobs, scope of work, and customer expectations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and proactive communication.
- Track and analyze KPIs such as labor utilization, job profitability, service response times, and callback rates.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and margin targets are met.
- Implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local codes, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
- Maintain proper documentation for permits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive residential services experience, including leadership in service and/or installation.
- Strong understanding of systems, installation processes, and service operations.
- Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, budgets, and customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in dispatching/scheduling software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- EPA certification and HVAC licenses (or ability to obtain).
