HVAC/Mechanical Service Technician

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Roving HVAC/Mechanical Service Technician in Plymouth, MN. Individuals will start their workday in Plymouth, MN (55447) and travel to job sites within a company vehicle. This role is Monday - Friday 730am start time. This role is contract to hire 90-120 days before conversion.

Salary Requirements: $27-$45/hour DOQ.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and mechanical systems (boilers, chillers, rooftop units, pumps, air handlers, and controls).
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Work with building automation systems (Niagara and Alerton — no prior experience required, training provided).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with clients and teammates.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 5 years' experience in maintenance – commercial experience is required.
• Proven HVAC experience is required and certification is required.
• Boilers experience is required; certification is .
• Hauling Certified and using refrigerants (EPA) highly .
• Be able to pass a background check and MVR before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance – as this role will be roving between properties.

• Niagara and Alerton software experience but not required.
