About This Position:As an HVAC Installer for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday – Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As an installer, you may be tasked with the following: Layout, assemble, and install variety of sheet metal duct systems including: square, rectangle, round, and spiral. Candidate should also have experience with flex and fabric duct systems.Operate mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and other related field tools.Install, test, diagnose, and repair mechanical and refrigeration systems, system components and equipment with appropriate testing equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and operation.Read and Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, and Diagrams.Train and direct HVAC apprentice(s) to assist in installation of HVAC, Mechanical, and refrigeration systems.You may receive other responsibilities from your site supervisor.
Be a safety champion and return home safely each day.Pay is DOE $16 - $35 / hourJob Requirements:Must have 1-5 years of construction HVAC/Mechanical field experience.Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and push and pull objects as required.Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.Work at least 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.Ability to obtain an apprentice or journeyman’s license with state licensing board. Ability to work well with others.
