The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. Working primarily in small teams, the role requires hands-on expertise with various manual and power tools, along with a strong understanding of safety practices and technical installation standards. The installer will handle system setup, electrical wiring, and ensure project documentation is accurate while managing local travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and mixed project types
• Set up and configure HVAC equipment according to project specifications
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Perform wiring and mechanical connections to complete installations
• Maintain accurate documentation and report project progress
• Collaborate effectively within small teams of 2-3 installers
• Utilize manual tools, power tools, and digital devices
• Travel locally to various job sites as required

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in HVAC installation
• Technical certificate in HVAC or related field
• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Proficiency in HVAC system installation and electrical wiring
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints
• Effective problem-solving skills
