Job Title: HVAC Estimator

Location: Mineola, NY

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 + Benefits

We’re a well-established mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC systems for high-rise residential and commercial projects across the five boroughs, and we’re looking for a motivated Estimator to join our growing team in Mineola.

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our preconstruction and project management teams. You’ll be responsible for analyzing project drawings and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring bids are competitive and comprehensive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and proposals to prepare detailed HVAC estimates
• Perform material take-offs and cost analysis for mechanical systems
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to source pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Assist in bid preparation and submission
• Track and update project budgets and cost reports

Experience Required:

• 1–5 years of experience as an Estimator within the mechanical/HVAC industry
• Experience working on high-rise residential and commercial projects across the five boroughs
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and installation practices
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency with estimating software and Excel
