The successful candidate will perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, equipment and building services.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nIdentify and manage risks associated with onsite equipment, including critical spares and plant performance improvements.\nManage environmental conditions via the BMS system and ensure plant and equipment operate efficiently.\nUse new technologies and equipment to maintain a safe, comfortable working environment, liaising with the client on reactive and planned tasks.\nCarry out fault-finding on a wide range of HVAC plant and equipment, with a strong focus on VRV/VRF systems.\nWork safely with refrigerants, ensuring compliance with F‑Gas handling requirements.\nSupport team members on Health & Safety matters.\nAct as Energy Champion and assist as Safety Champion when required.\nProvide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.\nPrepare, follow and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.\nComplete all required documentation in line with legislative and company standards.\nUse mobile devices to manage, record and complete tasks via the CAFM system.\nPlan daily work using email and calendar tools to ensure efficient task completion.\nLiaise with the onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to resolve building services issues.\nDeputise for the Site Supervisor during periods of absence.\nWork overtime when required, including nights and weekends if necessary.\nSupervise and manage subcontractors as needed.\nParticipate in an on‑call rota for out‑of‑hours emergency response.\nUndertake additional ad‑hoc duties as required.\n\nExperience & Qualifications Required\n\nRecognised or time‑served apprenticeship.\nStrong, proven experience in HVAC maintenance.\nMechanical qualifications to a City & Guilds standard.\nGood multi‑skilled capability.\nStrong fault‑finding skills.\nAbility to supervise contractors.\nCompetence in producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.\nAbility to prepare and understand permits and safe systems of work.\nF‑Gas certification and experience working with refrigerants.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\nWorking at Height qualification.\nIPAF / PASMA certification.\nAP qualifications.\nExperience with BMS systems.\nKnowledge of HVAC controls
