\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team, working across a range of commercial and client sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in heating, ventilation and air conditioning to join a growing business and develop their career.\n

\n The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and installation works across a variety of HVAC systems.\n

Key Responsibilities:\n
\n
\n

    \n
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and associated mechanical systems.
  • \n

  • Attend reactive maintenance call-outs and diagnose faults efficiently.
  • \n

  • Carry out repairs and remedial works to HVAC equipment.
  • \n

  • Service, maintain and repair air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems.
  • \n

  • Complete routine inspections and identify potential issues before they develop into major faults.
  • \n

  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical and HVAC equipment.
  • \n

  • Complete service reports, job sheets and maintenance records accurately.
  • \n

  • Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant health and safety procedures.
  • \n

  • Work in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
  • \n

  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and clients.
  • \n

  • Provide a high standard of customer service at all times.
  • \n

  • Participate in an on-call rota where required.
  • \n

The successful candidate may have experience working with some or all of the following:\n

Person Specification:\n
\n
\n

    \n
  • Previous experience working as an HVAC Engineer, Air Conditioning Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical services.
  • \n

  • Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • \n

  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • \n

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • \n

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • \n

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • \n

  • Ability to complete paperwork and service reports accurately.
  • \n

  • Flexible approach to working across different client sites
  • \n

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or a relevant mechanical engineering discipline.
  • \n

  • City & Guilds or equivalent HVAC qualifications.
  • \n

  • F-Gas certification, where applicable.
  • \n

  • 18th Edition electrical qualification, desirable.
  • \n

  • IPAF / PASMA, desirable.
  • \n
