Job Description

Location: Mobile -\nHVAC  

East\nLondon - Dagenham / Bexleyheath / Dartford\nareas 

Salary:\nUp to 50K DOE and relevant Qualifications  + Van &\nFuel Card + Overtime and Call\nout 

Working\nHours:  0800-1700 Monday to Friday 40 hours per week 1\nhour\nLunch 

Contract\nType: Perm Full\nTime

Role\nOverview: 

Provide\ngeneral electrical / mechanical maintenance service and support on\nRefrigeration / Air Conditioning, heating equipment and associated\nplant to various properties and Data\nCentres.

What\nyou'll\ndo:

​

• To\ncarry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of\nplant, equipment and industrial service supplies\nincluding:

o\nHVAC Plant and all associated Equipment

o\nIndustrial / Commercial Chillers and various split\nsystems

o Building management\nSystems

o AHU Plant and associated\nEquipment

• To carry\nout reactive repair tasks on site plant and equipment similar to\nthe above.
• To undertake all duties in a safe,\ntidy and responsible manner in accordance with Health & Safety\nrequirements.
• To ensure that spares and\nmaterials are used in a cost-effective\nmanner.
• To carry out other duties as may\nreasonably be requested from time to time by site management or the\nclient.
• To obey client and EMCOR site rules and\nto maintain a high standard of discipline at all\ntimes.
• To work as an on-call duty engineer as\npart of a team rota if required.
• To complete\nsite work order documentation to required site\nstandards.
• To carry out other duties that may\nbe reasonably requested from time to time by EMCOR and client\nmanagement.

Who\nyou'll\nbe:

• Solid\nbackground within a similar role. 
• Trade\nQualifications and level ? Refrigeration Qualifications\nNVQ/C&G Certificate.
• Electrically qualified\nor competent 
• Data Centre experience would\nbe helpful but not\nprerequisite 
• Refrigerant handling\ncertification 
• Knowledge of Permit to Work\nSystem.
• Undertaken relevant Health and Safety\nTraining. (or willing to undertake relevant\ntraining)
• Ability to sustain effective\nrelationships
• Undertaken relevant Health and\nSafety Training. (or willing to undertake relevant\ntraining)
• Some Knowledge of Building Management\nSystems would be an\nadvantage.
