HVAC Service Engineer\n Location: Birmingham & Midlands (Field-Based)\n Salary: £40,000 - £52,000 (DOE) + Overtime & Call-Out (OTE £50k+)\n Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time\n\nBenefits:\n Company van & fuel card | Paid travel time | Overtime & call-out allowance | Pension | 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\nA well-established building services and facilities management contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join their expanding Midlands team. You'll be working across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and fault-finding support.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing business that offers consistent work, strong earning potential, ongoing training, and clear progression opportunities.\n\nThe Role\n\nCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across HVAC systems\nDiagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults\nServicing and maintaining: \nSplit and multi-split systems\nVRV / VRF systems\nAHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems\nHeat pumps and chillers (where applicable)\nPerforming leak detection, pressure testing, evacuation, and refrigerant charging\nCompleting service reports and F-Gas compliance documentation\nLiaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery\nWorking in line with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards\nParticipating in an on-call rota (typically 1 in 6 to 1 in 8)\n\nRequirements\n\nEssential:\n\nMinimum 3 years' experience as an HVAC / AC Service Engineer\nF-Gas Category 1 certification\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\nSolid understanding of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems\nFull UK driving licence\nAbility to work independently across multiple sitesDesirable:\n\nNVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning\nExperience with chillers, heat pumps, or ventilation systems\n18th Edition (BS7671)\nIPAF / PASMA\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive basic salary of £40,000 - £52,000\nRealistic OTE of £50k+ through overtime and call-out\nPaid travel time\nOngoing manufacturer training and development\nLong-term career stability within a growing company\n\nInterested?\n\nINDAV\n\nIf you're an experienced HVAC Engineer looking for a well-paid role across Birmingham and the Midlands with strong earning potential and long-term security, apply today.\n\nAlecto Recruitment Limited is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
