Position - HVAC Engineer\n\nLocation – Manchester to work the Northwest\n\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nStarting Salary/Package: £38,000 – £43,000, Van/Fuel Card, Death in Service, OT available, 32 days holiday inc banks, & more\n\nPurpose of the Role\n\nTo install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (including air conditioning, ventilation, and commercial heating units) across a variety of commercial and public sector sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client SLAs.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nService, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, including:\nSplit & multi-split AC units\nVRV/VRF systems\nAHUs, FCUs, ventilation/extraction systems\nCommercial gas boilers and heating systems (if qualified)\nDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems\nCarry out PPMs and respond to reactive callouts\nComplete commissioning and installation of new HVAC systems\nEnsure compliance with F-Gas regulations and relevant health & safety standards\nMaintain accurate service reports, job records, and digital logs\nCollaborate with other trades\nProvide excellent customer service to clients on-site\nUphold professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship\nYou must have or Hold\n\nNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent\nF-Gas (Category 1) certified – mandatory\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in HVAC maintenance and repair\nStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skills\nFull UK driving licence\nCommercial gas qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, etc.) (Desirable)\n\nWe are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProgression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.\n\nIf you are interested in this new and exciting opportunity with a growing company, then call Ben Gibson on the listed number or ideally email with your current CV
