HVAC Copper Runner

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Copper Runner for a large commercial construction company in San Antonio. As a Copper Runner, you will be responsible for running copper pipe, as well as soldering and brazing components to ensure proper installation and function of HVAC systems. You must be knowledgeable in HVAC refrigerant copper line installation.
Duties:

• Install and run copper piping for HVAC systems in accordance with design specifications and codes.
• Properly prepare and cut copper piping and fittings to required lengths and sizes.
• Solder and braze copper joints and connections to ensure secure, leak-free fittings.
• Ensure proper installation of refrigerant lines and other copper pipe systems within HVAC installations.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians and contractors to complete projects in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in copper pipe installation, soldering, and brazing within the HVAC industry.
• Previous commercial construction experience
• Strong knowledge and experience soldering and brazing copper
• Having own torch for soldering and brazing is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
