Job Description:
Seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Engineer or Programmer to lead the programming, configuration, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS) for commercial HVAC projects. This position is remote, but candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to North Dakota or Northern Minnesota, as periodic travel to job sites is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, test, and commission commercial HVAC control and automation systems

• Develop and implement software code, custom control sequences, and graphics

• Troubleshoot networking, databases, and controller programming issues

• Collaborate with project and engineering teams on system setup and requirements

• Configure supervisory computers, integrate subsystems, and develop operator interfaces

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle

• Perform on-site commissioning and functional testing as needed

• Communicate any deviations or field issues to the project team promptly

Requirements:

• Niagara N4 Certification or equivalent/relevant certifications

• Hands-on experience with Niagara programming (Honeywell, Distech, Vykon, Lynxspring, Alerton, Talon, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, etc.)

• Technical education or relevant trade experience

• Strong problem-solving and project management skills

• Must be located in or open to relocating to North Dakota or Northern Minnesota
