I am currently looking for a HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join my clients expanding team. This opportunity would suit those residing in the London/South London area where your expertise in HVAC Commissioning within the Water Treatment/Water Hygiene sector will help drive our business to ever greater commercial success.\n\nYou’ll be responsible for commissioning HVAC systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. You will play a vital role in ensuring HVAC systems are installed, tested, and fully operational in accordance with client specifications, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.\n\nWhat you receive for joining us:\n\nOur client offers a competitive salary between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a Company Pension and Healthcare, 25 days annual holiday + public holidays, financial loyalty bonus, 40 hour working week + travel and overtime at weekends and other times is available.\n\nHere’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:\n\n * Commission, test, and balance HVAC systems in accordance with design specifications, project requirements, and industry standards, including performing initial checks, troubleshooting, and system adjustments for optimal efficiency\n\n * Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors during installation and commissioning, while providing technical support and guidance to clients and team members\n\n * Conduct air and water balancing by adjusting dampers, valves, and air handling units, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and health and safety legislation\n\n * Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test results and system configurations, and identify opportunities to enhance system performance or reduce energy consumption\n\nCan you show experience in some of these areas?\n\n * Proven experience as an HVAC Commissioning Engineer with strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water, heating, ventilation, ASHP/CHP systems, and familiarity with HVAC commissioning tools and BMS systems (e.g., Trend)\n\n * Holds relevant qualifications such as CSA, NVQ Level 3 in HVAC, City & Guilds or equivalent, with a solid understanding of industry standards and regulations including BSRIA, CIBSE, and HVCA commissioning practices\n\n * Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders\n\n * Health and safety aware, holds a full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel to various sites, and has the capability to mentor junior engineers and support training as needed\n\n * You will need to hold a full UK Driving licence
