Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated HVAC Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technical understanding of HVAC systems, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing HVAC projects from start to finish.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.

• Prepare and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and change orders.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.

• Maintain project records and assist in preparing project closeout documents.

• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field () OR equivalent HVAC industry experience.

• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC, construction management, or related role.

• Familiarity with HVAC systems, drawings, and mechanical codes.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat; experience with project management software is a plus.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

• OSHA 10/30 certification ().
