About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated HVAC Apprentice Pre-Apprentice to join our team at Harker Heating & Cooling, Inc. As an HVAC Apprentice Pre-Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced technicians in the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems in new construction projects. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a pre-apprenticeship program in HVAC or related field
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Completion of an apprenticeship program in HVAC or related field
- Experience working on new construction projects
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- EPA certification
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of HVAC systems in new construction projects
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Skills:
As an HVAC Apprentice Pre-Apprentice, you will utilize your technical skills and knowledge of HVAC systems to assist in the installation and maintenance of systems in new construction projects. You will work closely with our experienced technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose issues, ensuring that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential in this role, as is the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Additionally, familiarity with local building codes and regulations, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, will be beneficial in this role.
