Arey Jones Educational Solutions is a national technology solutions provider to the K12 education sector. We are a rapidly expanding company and we are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead and direct the functions of the HR department including tasks related to recruitment and hiring, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits and compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. We are looking for an organized, dedicated, and collaborative individual who excels at managing staff-related issues, policies, programs, and processes in an active, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
In this position, you will:
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Manage the talent acquisition process which includes job analysis (job description, person specification, skills and competency requirements), recruitment, selection, hiring, onboarding and evaluation.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees and develop the necessary management and leadership skills in supervisors and managers.
- Recommend, develop, and implement programs to promote employee engagement and retention.
- Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Implement employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits; recommend benefit programs to management; direct the processing of benefit claims.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Provide support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
- Ability to travel to various locations
