Job Title: HR Manager

Hours: Part time 20 hours a week (Potential to increase)

Based in Mitcham with some visits to their showroom in Central London.

Role:

Exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced HR manager to join a well known Antiques furniture supplier to world leading Architects and designers. This will be a stand alone position so they’re looking for someone who likes to be hands-on and is keen to make a difference in a growing creative company.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acting as the first point of call for HR related queries from employees and external parties.
• Producing offer letters, contracts and other HR correspondence.
• Monitor and review the progress of trainees through probationary reviews, 121s, appraisals, and discussions with management.
• Undertake relevant HR project work redundancies, restructures, conducting consultations and liaising with third parties.
• Management of the sickness absence data and right to work checks, and other vital compliance activities, such as supporting audits.
• Management and maintenance of HR system.
• Generate reports for holidays, absence, and retention.
• Conduct disciplinary actions, grievance, capability, and appeal hearings.
• Preparation of invite letters, hearing packs, acting as note taker and assisting in the preparation of outcome letters.
