Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner - Operations

Salary: £65,000

Location: Burnley, Hybrid, initially 5 days on site whilst learning the role.

Our Client is looking for a HRBP who will be accountable for the execution and implementation of the HR strategy, providing HR expertise to support the growth of the business.

  • You will collaborating closely with the Director of Operations, building strong and trusted working relationships with teams, managers and key stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective HR workstreams that drives best in class HR, deliver HR expertise and guidance to the Operations management team to embed integrated HR processes such as performance management, recruitment, talent pipelines, development, compensation, and absence management.

  • You will also be working closely with the Unions - so you must have amazing communication skills to maintain this relationship.

  • You will be used to utilising data, metrics, and evidence to inform and drive decision making and change across the business area.

What do we need from you?

  • You will be CIPD qualified and with demonstrable relevant experience of operating at senior level.

  • You will have proven experience of operating at a senior HR level with business leaders within a manufacturing environment.

  • You will be able to demonstrate successful execution and implementation of HR strategy with a continuous improvement mindset and approach.

  • You will have up to date knowledge of employment law and ability to stay abreast of changes to employment legislation and regulations with broad awareness of HR developing trends, HR best practice and networks.

  • You will definitely need to have had experience of working in a manufacturing, unionised environment and leading TU negotiations.
