HR Business Partner

  • Salary up to £37- £43k
  • Full Time - Permanent
  • Based in Lancashire
  • Full time on site

Medlock Partners are recruiting to an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join a growing business with great progression opportunities.

The successful person will partner with Managers and Teams both locally and regionally in this Generalist HR role.

Your time will be spent focussing on all aspects of HR including (but not exclusively) workforce planning, employee engagement, leading on value-add projects and employee relations.

You will have worked in a fast-paced environment previously with the ability to prioritise and multitask responsibilities.

Key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:

  • Generalist HR responsibilities including supporting line managers and colleagues on advice in relation to HR policy and procedures
  • Partner with key stakeholders on formal cases of disciplinary and grievances including coaching on best practice
  • Partner with managers on succession planning, ensuring changes are proactively managed, including assessing requirements, identifying skill gaps, and developing strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Support relevant accreditations by driving action plans to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive culture
  • Deliver and own specific projects that are national and local such as developing innovative HR practices, implementing new technologies, or improving HR processes
  • Support on external and internal reporting and company led initiatives

Key requirements for the HR Business Partner:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar level role in a fast-paced working environment
  • Highly organised with strong planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • A practical and common-sense approach to HR related matters
  • Self-motivated and driven individual
  • Able to combine strategic thinking with HR operational knowledge
