HR Advisor vacancy just in!

Are you an experienced Advisor looking to make a difference to a growing and busy food distribution business?

This is a permanent, full time opportunity and I am looking to speak to hands on, experienced Advisors who thrive working at pace.

With support from a wonderful HR Manager – you will work onsite in Portbury 5 days a week with the occasional travel to Trowbridge to spend time with the rest of the HR function – your onsite presences will enable you to work closely with your stakeholders and make a real impact on the business!

This is a role with lots of variety and offers a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic team in a business that is thriving.

You will balance supporting, advising, coaching and, where appropriate, influencing and challenging managers to ensure fair and consistent procedures and policies are being followed- in line with employment law and their policies.

You will take a proactive role in ER cases - including administration and attending meetings such as hearings, grievances, investigations and appeals.

We are looking for a HR Advisor who has proven experience in a HR generalist role which includes providing expert advice in a fast paced environment. You will often be the only HR representative on site so need to draw in your skills, knowledge and experience to take initiative- recognising when something needs to be escalated or you need to seek advice. You’ll be supported by your HR colleagues working on other areas of the business.

Hours are 8.30-5pm with an hours lunch, free parking onsite (due to the nature of the business, pleas only apply if you are happy to work onsite five days a week) 25 days annual leave pro rate, salary + additional cost of living allowance, staff discount, free Turkey at Christmas AND unlimited pastries.. what are you waiting for?
