ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Handle all HR and safety matters with discretion and professionalism
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and pre-employment processes
- Conduct orientations, schedule physicals, and complete hiring documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and track PTO, attendance, and tardiness
- Manage benefit enrollments and updates
- Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll documentation
- Generate weekly HR and efficiency reports
- Conduct new hire and annual safety training, including OSHA refreshers
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Support disciplinary procedures and performance review process
- Review equipment inspections and maintain operator certifications
- Coordinate training schedules for forklifts and other equipment
- Perform daily on-site safety inspections and document findings
- Manage respirator programs, monthly audits, and safety records
- Oversee waste disposal, safety supply inventory, and emergency equipment checks
- Maintain and update Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of HR and/or Safety experience (certification )
- OSHA 30 – General Industry certification required
- Strong discretion and integrity in handling confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong problem-solving and online research skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
