Position Summary
The UKG Systems Analyst will be a core member of the HRIS team, focusing on the foundational support, maintenance, and configuration of the UKG Pro. This role is designed for an enthusiastic individual with a foundational understanding of Core HR, Payroll & UTM processes and a strong aptitude for technology, providing the opportunity to develop expertise in a leading enterprise system.
Key Responsibilities
• System Support and Troubleshooting:
o Serve as a first-line support contact for end-users on UKG-related issues (e.g., login, navigation, basic timekeeping, or payroll data entry problems).
o Log, track, and resolve system issues and user requests, escalating complex problems to senior analysts or vendor support as needed.
o Assist in routine system health checks and data validation activities to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Configuration and Maintenance:
o Perform basic system configuration changes under the direction of a senior analyst, such as updating user profiles, security roles, and organizational structure data.
o Assist in setting up and testing system changes, including new pay codes, accrual rules, or workflow steps.
• Reporting and Data Management:
o Generate and distribute standard reports from the UKG system to support HR, Payroll, and Operations teams.
o Assist with data imports and exports (e.g., using EIBs or mass update tools) while adhering to data governance standards.
• Documentation and Training:
o Maintain and update system configuration documentation and end-user guides.
o Assist in creating training materials and conducting basic training sessions for new users or on system enhancements.
• Projects and System Upgrades:
o Participate in testing phases for system upgrades, patches, and new module implementations.
o Support assigned project tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
• 3 years UKG Pro system support experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• A strong desire to learn and develop deep expertise in the UKG platform.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis).
