Job DescriptionJob Description
We have an immediate opportunity for a HR Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing activities of multiple large projects with the responsibility for results in terms of cost and outcome. This is a hybrid position which requires in office two days a week.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Will be responsible for developing business plan, objectives and initiatives
- Provide input to organization objective and policies and ensure delivery of results
- Excellent communication skills as this position requires engagement regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues
- Ability to manage and execute HR projects collaborating with cross functional HR projects and create communication plans and materials to inform employees
- Ability to implement benefits realization, satisfaction surveys, metric tracking to qualify HR Project Return on Investment (ROI) and value delivery
- Implement project management reporting tools, progress dashboards, and methodologies to gain visibility into HR Project health and status
- Responsible for working closely with vendors to ensure contract terms and conditions are being met as well as managing the project schedule
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5 plus years of progressive project management experience
- Significant experience leading traditional, phase-based (Waterfall) projects and applying Agile/Scrum practices
- Strong working knowledge of project governance, change control, and format approval processes
- Experience managing projects with procurement, vendor contracting, and third-party delivery components
- Ability to apply Agile/Scrum practice with a broader traditional or hybrid project framework
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly desired
